1. How to join voltras.net?

Click “JOIN” or “Sign Up” on the right-up side of the home page. Fill in your desired user ID and valid email address. We will send a password to your email.

2. What should I do with the weird password?

Once you logged in using the password generated by our engine, you can change it in your profile. Click “Edit Account” link in your profile and change the password.

3. How to write stories?

Start sharing your stories with other members and visitors from all around the globe. Simply click on “Travel Stories” menu on the menu bar, you will find “Write Travel Story” on the right side of the page. Or, you can find the same link in your profile.

4. What language can I use here?

You can use any languages, for writing stories or commenting. But due to our human resources limitation, we can only pick stories in English, Indonesia and German to be selected as Best Story.

5. Can I post stories that belong to other people?

No. You have to create your own stories.

6. How to upload pictures?

Click on “Pictures” link on the menu bar, and find “Publish Picture” on the right side of the page. Or, you can find the same link in your profile.

7. Can I post pictures that belong to other people or pictures that I found somewhere?

No, unless you put the link and the name of the owner of the pictures and not violating the owner of the pictures’ terms of use.

8. Can I categorize my pictures?

Yes. Create albums from your profile, and put your pictures into each album.

9. How to build my network?

Click on “Family” menu on menu bar, and start browsing voltras.net’s members. Click on the member’s profile you are interested in, and click “Add as family”.

10. I have added a member but he/she does not appear in my Family Members list. Why?

Every member you added has to approve your request before you can see her/him in your Family Member.

11. How to gain points?

Below is the activities list to get points and how many points you will earn.

12. What is “Destination”?

It is a list of many countries in the world. You can choose any country you want from the dropdown menu. You will find a short description about the chosen country.

13. What is “Places”?

It contains stories created by editors. Hopefully it will help voltras.net Family in broadening their knowledge about interesting places around the globe, especially Indonesia.

14. What is “Discovered”?

It contains stories created by editors, about hidden paradise-like places. Most of the places described here have not widely published.
