Labuan Bajo is the capital city of West Manggarai regency, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia. It lies on the tip of the west Flores, as the gate to the island. Manggarai administratively comprises cities and a small archipelago, including the Komodo and Rinca Island where the Komodo National Park is located as genuine habitat from this scarce animal.

Many islands are surrounding the city. One of them is Seraya, it’s worth a look for diving adventure. It has interesting marine life, great coral reefs and fish species such as manta ray, and other biodiversity in the sea color up the water.

The wave is not too strong, proper size for beginners. For scenery lovers, the beaches are naturally clean with the white sand, and gorgeous view environs of the territory.

As one of the accesses to Flores, the tourism in this area keeps growing. The transportations and some public facilities are available to support it. The place can be reached by ferry from Sumbawa or bus from Ende and Maumere. Recently, Komodo airport at Labuan Bajo offers active flight from Denpasar. 

Labuan Bajo is intriguing enough for adventurers where travelers meet other travelers. The journey is ready to challenge every soul. It is definitely a land to visit.
