The beauty of paradiso is representing Cubadak. Not too many people know about this island. The place where located in West Sumatra, 57 kilometers from Padang, Indonesia, is charming enough to indulge adventurers or travelers. It offers beach with clear water and blue sky to give new spirit and elevate the zeal of life. The rain forest there has many kinds of birds and bigger animals such as hornbills, king fishers, monkeys, monitor lizards, deer, wild boars and others.

The tiny Cubadak is only fifteen square kilometers. There exists a comfortable and unique resort that being configured in a village named Paradiso Village. It provides wooden bungalows and cottages and lies strategically in this island which is completely surrounded by a coral reef. In the sea nearby, live innumerable varieties of colored reef fishes.

Water sport is appropriate as the best activities to do, such as snorkeling, sailing, windsurfing, boat excursions and trekking in the forest. These facilities are provided by the hospitality of the resort in order to enjoy the beauty of the island.

The island has been managed by Italians and Frenches. Most of the visitors are from Italy and other countries of Europe. That’s why Spaghetti Island is the epithet of it. Unique and interesting to know, Italian people who love scenic of West Sumatra are taking a good care of the nature toward this island and also giving life to the Cubadak.

 

How to get there
Fly to
Padang, the capital city of West Sumatra, Indonesia, and land on Minangkabau International airport. From Jakarta, there are many airlines that serve flight to Padang, such as Garuda Indonesia, Mandala Airlines, and Batavia Air (Jakarta–Padang–Jakarta). Also flight from Singapore for International visitors (SingaporePadangSingapore). Arrived in Padang, then go to the Padang Port in one hour and fifteen minutes car rental or taxi to Simpang Tiga Pantai Carocok, and from there by boat to Cubadak in ten minutes.
